All children from Nursery to Year 8 may be supervised from 7.30am-6.00pm daily either within our Extra Curricular Clubs, Breakfast or After School Care.
At Parkside School, our philosophy is to provide a breadth of curriculum and experiences, whilst providing new opportunities to discover and develop new passions and talents.
Clubs provide opportunities to try new things, build friendships outside of the classroom and develop existing skills and interests. There is a wide range of clubs covering sport, performing arts, environmental, creative, relaxation, music and STEM IT (see brochure below). “We encourage all boys to take part in clubs with enthusiasm and enjoy the opportunity to explore and discover.” Clubs are available from Reception to Year 8, supervised by Parkside staff and/or specialist club providers, and are hugely popular with the children.
Breakfast Club runs from 7.30-8.15am in the Nursery and Main School where a choice of hot and continental breakfast is offered.
After school care is available for Nursery children from 3.00-6.00pm, Pre Prep boys from 4.00-6.00pm and Prep boys from 5.00-6.00pm.
Children are booked in for an hourly rate and food is provided. A hot meal is served between 5.00 and 6.00pm and sandwiches between 4.00 and 5.00pm. Snacks are provided in Nursery between 3.00 and 4.00pm.
Boys staying from 5.00-6.00pm will have the opportunity to complete their prep.
After School care may be booked in advance or on an ad hoc basis by 9.00am in the morning.
Any children not collected at 5.00pm will be supervised in late club and charged every 15 minutes prior to collection.
Staff supervising wraparound care have the relevant first aid qualifications.
