We were delighted to be able to make three Unconditional Offers to Parkside boys this year. Like the prep school at Parkside, Tonbridge specialises in the education of boys. We are academically selective and Parkside boys are well prepared for the academic rigour here. Similarly, boys from Parkside easily transition to the depth and breadth of co-curricular pursuits at Tonbridge, including music, sport and the creative arts. The intellectual curiosity and enjoyment of these activities is nurtured at Parkside and flourishes at Tonbridge as the boys reach their teens. 35 miles along the M25, we are not that far away either! We very much look forward to developing our relationship with Parkside in the years to come.

Parkside Discovery Sessions

Parkside Discovery Sessions – A Taste of Reception Life

Our Parkside Discovery Sessions give children the chance to experience life in Reception and begin to feel familiar with the Pre-Prep environment.

During the Spring term, we’ll be holding our next Discovery Sessions for children beginning Reception in September 2026:

  • Friday 26th January 2026, 9.30am – 11.30am
  • Friday 13th March 2026, 9.30am – 11.30am

Children will join our current Nursery group (Owls) who are moving up to Reception next year. During the morning, they’ll meet our friendly staff, explore classrooms and outdoor areas, enjoy engaging activities, spend time in the playground, and share a snack.

These sessions are designed to help children feel comfortable and confident as they take their first steps towards school life — making friends, discovering new experiences, and having fun along the way.

Discover Parkside – For Girls & Boys Joining Year 3 in 2026

Our Parkside Discovery Day gives children the chance to experience life in the Prep School and begin to feel familiar with the exciting opportunities that await them in Year 3.

Join us on Friday 13th March, 8.30am – 3.15pm, for a full day designed to help children feel confident, inspired, and excited about their next step at Parkside.

The day will begin at 8.30am, with children and parents invited to join our Pre-Prep Star of the Week Assembly, followed by a tour of the school (together with our Year 2 parents). Parents are then invited to enjoy tea and coffee in the Library.

After the assembly, visiting children will join our Year 2 pupils for the day, taking part in classroom activities and enjoying time with new friends. They will also be taken on a guided tour of the Prep School, giving them a real sense of what life at Parkside will be like in Year 3.

This Discovery Day is open to children beginning Year 3 in September 2026, whether already registered or exploring Parkside as an option for the next stage of their education.
