Often we hear from Old Boys that have left the school, from 2017 all the way back to 1979 (when the school first moved to Stoke D’Abernon), is that Parkside has always held a special place in their hearts and memories long after their final term drew to a close.

Not only did they love their time at Parkside but they were still in touch with their friends who helped make their days at the school such a special experience. An appreciation for the school and the friendships still going strong from those formative years are two things they rarely saw in the non-Pussdog friends they have made since leaving the school.

The unique bond the old boys have with the school and the people who went through it with them is why we want to keep in touch with all via our Old Boys Association (OBA). We want to grow it to rekindle the few friendships that have naturally drifted over the years.

The OBA isn’t just for the old boys! We’re hoping to get as many Parkside parents and teachers involved too. We know the parents and teachers contributed so much to the spirit of the school and made so many great friendships along the way.

The Old Boys Association recently funded the building of a beautiful new Cricket Pavilion for the school.

We’re also looking for people to join the Old Boys Association committee. If you would like to help shape the direction we take the Old Boys Association over the next few years and beyond, please do get in touch – we’d love to hear your ideas!
