The Grade II Manor House accommodates the Pre-Prep and the administrative offices as well as the Dining Room and a beautiful Salon with Minstrel’s Gallery which is used for Assemblies, other school functions and is hired out for weddings.
In addition, the fully refurbished Grade II listed Tithe Barn accommodates our Nursery, Merrileas, together with a well equipped Design Technology workshop and new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Suite.
There is a purpose-built Sports Hall with large indoor swimming pool, Science building, tennis courts and new cricket nets were built. Our most recent additions include a 100 seat performing arts hall, lecture room and new learning support rooms.
The refurbishment programme has also brought enhanced music facilities, extra practice rooms, a music technology classroom and updated science laboratories. The old music block has also been refurbished and opened as a new art studio giving the boys more space and much improved facilities in which to express their artistic flair.
We are very fortunate to have two large, flat playing fields that can accommodate several pitches on each, thereby providing the best facilities for all pupils at all times.
Continuous investment is vital. Recent improvements have cost in excess of £1000, 000 and more are planned.
